Fred was co-founder and Chairman of Grampian Country Food Group which was Scotland’s largest privately owned company employing more than 24,000 people worldwide. Since the sale of the group in 2008, Fred has focused on his land and property assets which have grown considerably and now extend to over 10,000 acres and include 6,000 acres of arable farming, 460,000 laying hens and over 50MWs of wind farm projects within Muirden Energy.
